I just built my first Fedora box, and at the first up2date, I got moans about GPG signatures being invalid (i.e. the updated packages were not safe). After much mucking about, looking into adding signatures and so on, I found the following - FedoraNEWS.ORG. This explains that the error is due to overload of the main Fedora update servers at RedHat. I followed the instructions and reconfigured my sources file to point at a local mirror, and all is now well, with updates coming down at over ten times the speed, as well!
